We dedicate the 40th Anniversary of the Mike Trader's Mid America Basketball camp to Coach Larry Ribble

We would like to dedicate the 40th Anniversary of the Mike Trader’s Mid America Basketball camp to Coach Larry Ribble.

Coach Ribble, fondly called Ribs, was a longtime presence at our camps. Unfortunately, Coach Ribble passed away in March of 2025. No one contributed more to the success of our camps than Coach Ribble. He enjoyed helping young people improve as players. He contributed to the camp in every possible way. He wanted the campers to learn something new that would help them become better players, but most importantly, he wanted everyone to have fun.

Coach Ribble had a unique ability to make everyone feel special. From the campers to the coaches, it was a pleasure to be with him. He was truly a gifted teacher and coach, and he was a friend to anyone who met him.
